How It Works

ApplicantAdvantage can process thousands of applications while delivering only the highest quality and best-matched candidates to the interview stage.

  • Candidates are directed to a preliminary web-based screening interview, where basic experience and certification questions, as well as preliminary demographic information is collected.
  • Rejected candidates are automatically notified and thanked for their application.
  • Those that qualify are invited to take a more in-depth behavioural interview using sophisticated IVR technology with patented links to the original web interview.
  • On the phone they are asked both multiple-choice questions and open-ended behavioral questions that permit full verbal responses.
  • At the employer's option, applicants can also be directed to behavioural, competency, and skills evaluation tests. These can be externally sourced - AIC offers a range of world class, market-validated tests - or we can incorporate most other validated psychological tests that our clients may wish to use.
  • Once the interviews are complete, all data and voice files are automatically uploaded to a secure reporting web site, where recruiters can access them.

Up to this point - when recruiters begin reviewing the ranked list of candidates on the web site - virtually no recruiter time has been invested assessing these candidates.

Recruiters can often begin accessing this information and scheduling interviews with top prospects within 48 hours of posting a new job opening.
